30 Days Basic Buddhist Meditation Course
Individual
Over the course of 30 days, you will be introduced to—and, most importantly, practice—the foundational Buddhist meditation technique, Shikan, from the comfort of your own home.
Each day, you’ll receive new meditation instructions that will safely and confidently guide you through essential elements such as:
- Sitting positions
- Meditation techniques
- Managing mental and physical challenges
- Overcoming distractions
- And much more
Once a week, you’ll meet with the teacher for a personal session. These sessions are designed to help you address the natural challenges that arise in your practice, provide valuable reflection and learning, and prepare you for the content of the coming week.
30 Days Basic Buddhist Meditation Course
Group
Over the course of 30 days, you and your group will be introduced to—and, most importantly, practice—the foundational Buddhist meditation technique, Shikan, in a supportive group environment.
Each day, you’ll receive new meditation instructions to practice at home, guiding you safely and confidently through essential elements such as:
- Sitting positions
- Meditation techniques
- Managing mental and physical challenges
- Overcoming distractions
- And much more
Once a week, the group will come together for a live session with the teacher. These sessions are designed to address common challenges and questions from the group’s practice, provide collective reflection and shared learning, and introduce the content and techniques for the coming week. Practicing in a group fosters a sense of community and shared energy, helping you stay motivated and consistent throughout your meditation journey.
